Central Coast Writers Branch

California Writers Club

A Note from the President

Welcome fellow writers,

If you're reading this, chances are you're a writer and you're curious about the California Writers Club, CWC. The Central Coast Writers branch celebrated its fourth birthday in July 2006. We're proud to be part of this almost 100-year-old organization. Our goal is to provide a forum for the promotion of all writers on the Central Coast that includes informative and entertaining programs, meaningful networking opportunities, mentoring, workshops and a host of CWC sponsored activities. Our upcoming meetings are described in our Calendar section, and our previous activities are highlighted in our Past Programs pages. I hope you decide to join us.

Membership Information

What's in a name?

CCW Membership Chair, Carol Brown KauffmannMembership in the California Writers Club (CWC) is governed by the Central Board and falls into the three categories shown below. This page contains printable membership forms for new members and transfer members from other CWC branches. While there are three types of membership, it's important to note that the benefits of CWC membership apply across the board to all categories. The single exception is that only members in the "Active/Published" category may run for, or hold, an elected branch office.

Carol Brown Kauffmann, Membership Chair
